松本奈々子と西本健吾が共同で演出・構成をおこなう、パフォーマンス・ユニット。身体や身振りの批評性をテーマに活動してきた。 個人や集団の記憶を、身体を媒介に記録し作品として再構成することへの関心から、近年は、特定のステップや身振りから複数のコンテクストを引き出し、それらとパフォーマーの身体感覚や記憶の交差をあつかう、リサーチベースのダンス作品を制作。 『皇居ランニングマン』（2019-2020、ラボ20#22参加）以降、ダンス作品の制作に取り組み、コロナ禍で制作しKYOTO EXPERIMENT2021Autumn で発表した『京都イマジナリー・ワルツ』（2021）は、国内外のフェスティバルで再演を重ねている。その他近年の作品に、『女人四股ダンス』（2022、KYOTO EXPERIMENT2022）、『nanako by nanako』（2024）。最新作は『Yokai Bodies Super杯!!!』（2026）。
Co-directed by Nanako Matsumoto and Kengo Nishimoto, team chiipro creates performances that explore the critical nature of the body and gestures. Motivated by an interest in recording and reconfiguring individual and collective memory through the body as a medium, their recent practice focuses on research-based dance works. These works draw out multiple contexts from specific steps and gestures, engaging with the intersections between these contexts and the performers’ embodied sensations and memories. Since The Imperial Palace Running Man (2019–2020, Lab20 #22), they have been actively creating dance works. Kyoto Imaginary Waltz (2021), created during the COVID-19 pandemic and presented at KYOTO EXPERIMENT 2021 Autumn, has been restaged at festivals in Japan and internationally. Other recent works include Menstruation Sumo Dance (2022, KYOTO EXPERIMENT 2022) and nanako by nanako (2024). Their latest work is Yokai Bodies Super Cup!!! (2026).
